Alina Nassar

Chair of the Firm’s Aviation practice and Co-Chair of the Competition practice at the regional level. She has advised international airlines and corporations on legal matters in Central America. Alina has directed administrative procedures before the Competition Agency and the Commission for the Protection of Consumers in Costa Rica.

• Leading the competition assessment for the implementation of a Joint Venture between three international airlines in Central America. 
• Winner of Best in Aviation award granted in New York by Euromoney Legal Media Group in 2018.
• Negotiated with the Costa Rican authorities the implementation of new procedures for the approval of regulatory filings for airlines that represented savings in fines for the carriers.
• Counsel to international organizations on aviation law issues in Central America.
