The event programme aims to honour women in the forefront of legal work in business law and those firms that have produced initiatives and programmes to support and encourage women and diversity within the industry.
We award law firms that have developed strong innovative practices and projects that highlight gender diversity, as well as women lawyers working in business law. We recognise up and coming women lawyers in their field and champion firms who have encouraged the growth of women talent in their countries and globally. The shortlists and winners are published on our website and social media.

General counsels and rising star lawyers are judged not only on the complexity of the work they accomplished in 2021, but also on their advocacy, influence, and thought leadership in relation to both the promotion of women in the practice of law and in championing positive developments within their specialisms.
Law firms are recognised across various categories, including for initiatives that advance gender diversity and for progressive work-life balance policies.
All the transactions, work and initiatives that underpin the awards had key milestones or completed during the review period: January 1 to December 31 2021. The Awards does not include in its evaluation include historical or uncompleted cases, deals, transactions or initiatives. .
